In the framework of its knowledge production activities, the KIX Africa 21 Hub will carry out a series of studies in collaboration with the Conférence des Ministres de l'Éducation des pays ayant le Français en partage (CONFEMEN).

Scheduled to be launched on October 15, 2021, these studies will focus on institutional learning, solutions in response to the COVID-19 health crisis, and the use of learning assessment results.

Through this series of studies, the KIX Africa 21 Hub aims to provide evidence to support education systems and to initiate discussions at the national and regional levels.

The three (3) studies will cover the following topics:

  1. Capacity-building strategies for decision makers who are part of education systems in institutional learning and knowledge management;
  2. Distance learning practices in response to the COVID-19 crisis: identification of strengths and weaknesses, prospects for sustainability through inclusion in the Education Sector Policy (ESP);
  3. Analysis of country programs and international benchmarks for lower secondary education in language, mathematics and science, with a view to producing specification tables for a PASEC evaluation (Programme d'Analyse des Systèmes de l'Education de la CONFEMEN).
