SUMMA and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), through the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX) Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Hub, with the support of Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), invite you to the launch of the second sub-cycle of the KIX LAC Hub knowledge mobilization and community of practice on Using Evidence in Education, Promoting the Monitoring of Student Learning Outcomes: National and International Assessments for Educational Improvement.
In the first session, the importance of international assessments for educational improvement will be explored. Content will include understanding the use, as well as the challenges related to generating assessments, access to and use of those assessments by educational actors.
This second session will explore the impact and lessons learned from using national assessments in educational improvement, highlighting outstanding examples and effective strategies.
