KIX EMAP Workshop 2 “Innovation to Action: Grant-Writing for Applied Research Projects”

This interactive, two-hour workshop will discuss how to develop a funding proposal for applied research grants allocated for putting innovative project ideas into action. The workshop will walk through the Why, What, How, and So What? elements of writing a successful proposal. During this workshop, the KIX EMAP team will share tips for writing a background and justification for your proposal (the Why), developing a project description and theory of change (the What), determining methods and resources needed (the How), and finally, measuring and sharing impact (the So What?).
For those that attended the Grant-Writing Workshop on 9 August 2023, this workshop will review the same content, with more focus on developing a theory of change, a work plan and a budget.
The workshop will be conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation into Russian and Arabic. During the workshop there will be ample opportunity for questions and sharing of experiences.
