Terje Aksel Sanner is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the University of Oslo’s Department of Informatics. He studies the development, governance, and use of digital platforms in the public sector. Specifically, through engaged scholarship, his research focuses on leveraging the digital platform model to strengthen public sector information systems and ultimately create open, transparent, and responsive public services, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
