Overview

Regional hubs are the cornerstone of GPE KIX. 

They are networks that work with Ministries of Education and other key stakeholders to identify priorities and knowledge gaps; support the uptake of evidence and learning to address policy challenges; facilitate inter-country learning through peer exchange; and build the institutional capacity to drive real change in education systems. 

Each hub is managed by regional learning partners that, collectively, bring together more than 700 members from across partner countries. National delegations include representatives from governments, local education groups, development partners, and civil society organizations.

As of 2026, over 8000 participants took part in over 300 capacity strengthening and knowledge mobilization events organized by hubs.

Country Support

Hubs provide tailored support to participating countries by facilitating access to relevant research, tools, and expertise. This includes assisting countries in identifying priority issues, interpreting evidence, and applying findings to policy and practice. The support is demand-driven and aligned with national education sector plans. 

Peer Learning and Networking

Through inter-country exchange, regular knowledge cycles, including meetings, webinars, conferences, communities of practice and collaborative activities, the hubs facilitate and promote peer-to-peer learning among education stakeholders. These interactions establish trust, encourage mutual understanding, and strengthen regional networks that can support long-term collaboration and innovation as well as promote cross-country dialogue and help surface scalable solutions grounded in local contexts.
