Presentation of the KIX Project on Distance Education in Dushanbe, Tajikistan

The “Anahita” Public Organization presented the Distance Education project to improve quality and access to representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science (MoES), Institute of Education Development, Training Resource Center, Institute of Professional Development of Education Workers, UNICEF representatives, and the KIX National Committee in Tajikistan. The project teams and consultants from Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia joined the event online. 

KIX National Committee Coordinator, Shodibek Kodirov, introduced the KIX initiative explained the KIX’ goals and what progress is being made in the region. Consultant of the project, Jovidsho Dzhuraev, presented the research methodology, activities, and expected results. Director of the Taalim-Forum public foundation, the leading organization of the Consortium, Almagul Osmonova, shared the experience of the country in distance education during the pandemic and presented the “Ibilim” multimedia complex of online educational materials developed by the organisation in collaboration with experienced teachers and IT specialists.  

The ICT center under MоES RT highlighted  the importance and feasibility of the project in the education system in Tajikistan.
