New GPE KIX Research Podcast series on gender equality in and through education

The newly launched GPE KIX Research Podcast series – Group Study Sessions- invites listeners to engage with global experts for lively conversations to explore today’s most pressing issues, innovations, and challenges in education research. The Podcast is produced and hosted by Dr. Kate Grantham and Dr. Leva Rouhani, who worked on the synthesis of gender equality in and through education research projects implemented from 2019 to 2024, supported by the Global Partnership for Education Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (GPE KIX), a joint endeavour with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
By bringing together GPE KIX Researchers and partners, Dr. Grantham and Dr. Rouhani aim to showcase different aspects of gender equality in education research and facilitate critical dialogue on going beyond improved access to education for all to addressing gendered norms in education systems, education policies and practices that systemically create barriers to education. Listeners to these group study sessions will learn how GPE KIX researchers are working to promote gender equality in and through education.
