KIX EMAP Launches Skills-Strengthening Workshop Series

The KIX EMAP Hub is launching a Skills-Strengthening Workshop Series, which will partner with key experts to offer education stakeholders in the Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Asia and Pacific (EMAP) region the opportunity to strengthen relevant skills for evidence-based policy and planning. As a complement to the KIX EMAP Hub’s thematic webinars, in which experts share their knowledge and experiences to broaden the knowledge of other experts and facilitate peer exchange, these skills-strengthening workshops will strengthen practical knowledge for participants to carry out relevant, analytical tasks in their policy and planning work.

The first KIX EMAP Skills-Strengthening Workshop: Implementation Research was held on 19-20 June 2025, in partnership with the Building Evidence in Education (BE2) initiative. The workshop focused on implementation research, and helped education stakeholders learn to design and oversee implementation research to address questions related to the contextual factors impacting the implementation of an intervention or reform.
