The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX) is proud to announce the publication of its 2023-2024 annual report.
This year, KIX made significant strides toward its three key priorities:

generating high-quality, demand-driven research;

mobilizing insights from applied research and learning exchanges into action;

strengthening the capacity of knowledge producers and users in developing countries to scale up successful innovations and integrate evidence-based practices into education planning, policy, and implementation.
The progress is evident not only in the increasing volume of high-quality research but also in the frequency with which partners are taking up research and applying it to their local contexts.
This year’s report features the theme of early childhood education (ECE). KIX-supported ECE research plays an important role in informing evidence-based policies and practices that integrate play into early learning. By focusing on early childhood education, KIX aims to highlight the critical importance of play in the cognitive and social development of young children, ensuring that the youngest learners receive the best possible start in life.
The 2023-2024 annual report showcases numerous success stories and case studies from GPE partner countries, illustrating how KIX-supported research and innovations are making a tangible impact on the ground.
