The policy brief describes the status of the early years' curriculum that was launched in Uganda in 2005 for use, and since then, has never been reviewed. The brief points to the need to review based on time passage, pedagogical changes in early years teaching, technological trends and research findings on child brain development. It also highlights the gaps in the curriculum and suggest what can be done to solve the issue.
