Formative Study on the Utilization of Learning Assessments in Uganda - Research report

East African countries need to urgently focus on practices and policies that equip young people with the 21st Century skills that will help them navigate the demands of the current market. This study seeks to understand the extent to which learning assessments inform policy and practice, the extent to which they include life skills and values, and how best the data can be used to improve educational policies and practices in Uganda. It used a qualitative consultative approach and case study design to understand the learning assessments conducted in Uganda, and how the resulting data was used.
