Learn Plus 8-Week Pre-Primary Program in Cambodia

LEARN Plus is a 3-country research project led by Plan International that aims to study the viability of a contextualized accelerated school readiness/pre-primary education program as an alternative, interim, cost-effective program to support the expansion of quality, gender-responsive pre-primary education in underserved communities.

This video showcases the 8-Week Pre-Primary Program in Cambodia, which was designed to help children from remote rural communities without access to early childhood education develop school readiness skills – enabling children to enroll in grade 1 on time and prepared. Interviews describe the teaching and learning approach, and efforts to expand the program to other communities.
