As part of its activities, the KIX Africa 21 hub organized a regional workshop on knowledge and innovation exchange that took place from April 25 to 28, 2022, in Dakar, Senegal. The objective of this workshop was to strengthen ties among the program’s partner countries and to support the momentum of the implementation of the KIX program at the regional level.

This workshop promoted the development of a strategy to organize countries into sub-working groups (clusters) to create a framework for exchange among countries according to geographical areas and to get around the barriers impeding the program’s implementation.

Thus, in continuity with the deployment of this inter-country collaboration strategy,the KIX Africa 21 hub is organizing a workshop on experience exchange the Global Partnership for Education countries in the Central Africa zone, from March 27 to 29, 2023, in Mbour, Senegal, with the participation of members of the national coordination teams from five countries (Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Chad).

This event, which is also part of the hub’s capacity building strategy, will help strengthen the experience acquired under the program and develop much more relevant strategies for the new phase of the KIX.

More specifically, this workshop will help:

  • share the objectives and strategic directions for KIX Africa 21;
  • share the experiences of countries that have already launched the program and identified promising innovations that can be shared at the regional level;
  • identify common issues concerning action research;
  • outline a roadmap for the Central African area, considering the main recommendations of the Addis Ababa symposium.

Expected to attend this important event are: educational researchers; members of the consortium and the technical committee of the KIX Africa 21 hub (IFEF/OIF – AUF – CONFEMEN); and KIX grant recipients.
