Bilingualism is a recognized lever for improving the quality of learning in Africa.

On April 27, the GPEKIX Afrique 21 Hub will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners for a high-level webinar on: Teaching and Learning in Bilingual and Multilingual Settings: Innovations, Experiences, and Perspectives.

On the agenda:

🔬 1. Understanding the scientific basis & reference frameworks: foundations of bilingual education, international policies, and regional and global trends.

🌍 2. Exploring innovations & field experiences: curricula, teaching tools, digital resources, assessments, and an overview of implementation in GPEKIX Africa 21 Center countries.

🤝 3. Identifying regional issues & opportunities for collaboration: challenges specific to the GPE KIX Africa 21 region, platforms for knowledge sharing, and avenues for regional cooperation.
