UKFIET Conference 2025: Mobilising knowledge, partnerships, and innovations for sustainable development through education and training
On September 16-18, 2025, GPE KIX and its supported projects will participate in the UKFIET Conference. This year’s theme of mobilising knowledge, partnerships, and innovations for sustainable development through education and training closely aligns with the work of GPE KIX, which aims to contribute to the improvement of education systems in GPE partner countries through demand-driven knowledge generation, capacity strengthening, and knowledge mobilization.
The conference will feature two GPE KIX sponsored panels: Scaling the Impact of Innovations across Educational Fields: Insights from GPE KIX Projects and Localizing Educational Development: Donor Insights on Successes and Challenge. Bringing together GPE KIX supported projects, the first panel will explore similarities and differences in scaling across different educational fields such as teacher training, education management information systems, girls' education, and education for refugees and displaced children—an area which remains understudied in scaling research. The second panel will put GPE KIX in conversations with other donors about the successes and challenges of implementing localization efforts in the educational development sector.
In addition to these GPE KIX sponsored panels, the UKFIET conference will feature individual presentations and panels of GPE KIX-supported projects:

Collectively, the above individual presentations and panels will contribute to different sub-themes of the conference ranging from systems thinking and equitable partnerships to inclusion and intersectionality and skills and knowledge for sustainable futures.
