The South Asia, Middle East, and North Africa (SAMENA) subregion of the KIX EMAP Hub will host its sub-regional team retreat in Bangladesh from June 12 to 13, 2024.  

The KIX EMAP SAMENA Team Retreat aims to facilitate collaborative discussions around the work in the sub-region, strengthening the SAMENA community while critically reflecting on the Hub’s work in the sub-region and planning ahead. The team retreat will be held with the following objectives: 

  • Critically reflect on KIX’s work in SAMENA 

  • Jointly refine the SAMENA workplan of activities and look for opportunities for greater complementarity between KIX and other country-level activities of the Ministry of Education and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 

  • Strengthen the SAMENA KIX community through peer learning and experience sharing

     

KIX EMAP National Coordinators and GPE Focal Points from the SAMENA countries (Bangladesh, Egypt, Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Yemen) will join the two-day team retreat.
