The KIX Africa 21 regional hub, led by the consortium comprising the AUF, CONFEMEN and IFEF-OIF (lead), in collaboration with the War Child Alliance, is pleased to announce that a series of webinars on the use of technological solutions in education (EdTech) will be held.

Through in-depth discussions, we will show how technology can support education systems in settings affected by conflict and resource constraints. Each session will cover key findings and lessons from the War Child Alliance’s research program, the GPE KIX-supported “Bridges to impact through innovative educational technology,” and provide essential information for the successful adaptation and large-scale deployment of EdTech programs. Special emphasis will be placed on the personalized digital learning solution developed by the War Child Alliance, “Can’t Wait to Learn.”

This webinar series will be held in two separate online sessions:

  • Session 1: Meeting education challenges: the development journey of “Can’t Wait to Learn” as an evidence-based solution, on September 17, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (GMT)

  • Session 2: Scaling EdTech solutions with impact: the journey of “Can’t Wait to Learn” and its path to sustainability, on October 8, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (GMT).

This event is intended for a diverse audience interested in educational issues in Africa, including members of GPE KIX national delegations, policymakers, education specialists and civil society organizations.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in French, English and Portuguese.
