The KIX Africa 19 Hub through UNICEF ESARO in partnership with UNESCO IICBA and the AU IPED is organizing a regional webinar on Supporting Teachers of Children with Dyslexia in Africa on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 15:00-17:00 PM East Africa Time (EAT) (UTC+3).

The webinar will feature expertise from Africa and voices from the Africa Dyslexia Organization and UNICEF. The webinar will provide an:
- Overview of dyslexia: Key facts and challenges faced by children with dyslexia.
- Support strategies for teachers: Effective pedagogies, teaching materials, and assistive technologies.
- Sharing of good practices from countries: Successful initiatives to support teachers of children with dyslexia.
The webinar is open to all interested stakeholders, including educators, government officials, partners, civil society organizations, inclusive education experts, and advocates.
