KIX Africa 19 Hub Gender Equality Community of Practice Meetings

The KIX Africa 19 Hub is hosting a series of online meetings for members of the existing community of practice in gender-responsive education in Africa to share updates in their gender equality advocacy work. The meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 27 and Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. East Africa Time (UTC +3). The link to join is here. 

At these meetings, members will reinforce their understanding of the definition of gender-responsive pedagogy and education, and share updates in their gender-responsive advocacy work, including their results from their interventions, their challenge faced while addressing gender inequalities in their education sector, and any good strategies they have learned to employ. 

The community of practice in gender equality is made up of government and national policy actors from Ministries of Education across Eastern, Western, and Southern Africa.
