GPE KIX National Knowledge Sharing & Policy Meeting: Aligning Evidence for System-Level Impact
The Kenya Ministry of Education, in partnership with the GPE KIX Africa 19 Hub, will convene the GPE KIX National Knowledge Sharing and Policy Meeting from 19–21 May 2026 in Naivasha, Kenya.
Under the theme "Aligning Evidence for System-Level Impact," the meeting will bring together policymakers, researchers, development partners, and GPE KIX project teams to strengthen dialogue on how evidence generated through GPE KIX can better inform education policy, implementation, and scaling in Kenya.
Key discussion areas:
- Kenya's education reform priorities and evidence needs for decision-making
- Moving evidence into policy, implementation, and scale
- Policy labs to identify practical uptake actions and implementation pathways
- Developing a Kenya KIX evidence uptake roadmap to strengthen coordination and sustained engagement across institutions and projects
In the spirit of regional and inter-country learning, the Kenya Ministry of Education has also invited the Somalia Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary and Director of Planning to participate in the meeting and exchange experiences on evidence-informed education reform and scaling pathways.
The meeting is expected to generate practical actions for strengthening evidence uptake and collaboration among GPE KIX projects and policy institutions in Kenya.
