Africa Teachers Webinar Series: Webinar #4

The Africa Teachers Webinar series is co-sponsored by the Africa Federation of Teaching Regulatory Authorities, the African Union, the European Union’s Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa, and the GPE KIX, a joint endeavour with the International Development Research Centre, Canada. The webinar series is organized by UNESCO’s International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa, which leads the KIX Africa 19 Hub and is a partner in the European Union’s Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa. 

The fourth webinar, "Launch of the CESA 26-35 and Continental Strategy on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (CS-MHPSS) for Teachers in Africa" will take place at the upcoming AFTRA Conference on Thursday, May 8, 2025, with a hybrid format. This session will bring together leading experts from the African Union, AFTRA, and UNESCO IICBA to examine in depth the key messages of both strategies and what they mean for improving teacher policy, practice, and well-being across the continent.
