Adapting teacher training to the issues and challenges of teaching and learning in the 21st century

The KIX Africa 19 hub is holding, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (UTC), a round table on the theme "Adapting training to the issues and challenges of teaching and learning in the 21st century."

The objectives of this round table are as follows:

• To analyze the issue of the adequacy of job training for teachers at the elementary/primary and lower secondary levels: the major changes that require new teaching skills and new academic learning
• To discuss experiences and models of organizing the initial training and continuing professional development (CPD) of teachers that reflect the needs for new professional knowledge and skills and new academic learning
