Umutoni is an Experienced Sociologist with a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry. Skilled in Gender Mainstreaming, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Qualitative Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, facilitation, transcription, and translation. Strong research professional with a Specialist degree/ Master's degree focused in Sociology from Kuban State University-Russia. Umutoni is based at eKitabu Rwanda and is responsible for developing the MEL plan, learning agenda, design, and implementation of the MEL System, overseeing projects’ overall approach, and developing high-quality quantitative and qualitative methods alongside participatory approaches to ensure program integrity and impact. As Lead Project Manager for the IDRC-KIX project, Umutoni supports implementation across Rwanda, Kenya, and Malawi, aligning regional strategies, and fostering cross-country learning to strengthen the inclusive education outcomes
