Dr. Ruchi S. Kumar is Co-Principal Investigator of MATPD project, working as Assistant professor at Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India. She has research interests in teacher education, STEM education and use of ICT for supporting Teacher professional development. She has been the Math TPD lead in the large-scale action research project in India - Connected Learning Initiative (CLIx) which has been awarded King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa prize from UNESCO for ICTs in Education. She has created and taught several courses for mathematics teachers and has contributed to creation of open educational resources at CETE.
