KIX Africa 19 Hub National Dialogue

On September 22, 2021, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., East Africa Time, a national dialogue was hosted in Kenya to foster a shared understanding on the role and function of the regional KIX Africa 19 Hub towards strengthening national education systems and accelerating educational progress.

This episode of the KIX EAP Podcast hosted by Ryan Allen, Assistant Professor, Chapman University (USA) features Dr Elena Kardanova, Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, Russia and the Director of the Institute of Education’s Centre for Psychometrics and Measurement in Education. Dr Kardanova explores the question of how researchers can balance international publishing in English while still disseminating local knowledge and other challenges.

The 8th Knowledge Innovation Exchange (KIX) Europe | Asia | Pacific (EAP) webinar explored the question “What has COVID-19 done to education and research?” This KIX EAP webinar was organised by NORRAG in collaboration with Professor Elaine Unterhalter, one of the guest editors of NORRAG Special Issue 06: States of Emergency: Education in the time of Covid-19, and the following authors of the special issue – Pravindharan Balakrishnan, Professor Marie Lall and Dr. Kusha Anand.

KIX brings together 89 low- and middle-income countries that are partners of the Global Partnership for Education to identify common policy challenges and facilitate knowledge sharing and evidence building.
